Recap: Onalaska Wildcats vs. Shepherd Pirates
The Onalaska Wildcats won the last time they faced the Shepherd Pirates, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Onalaska came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 36-25. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Onalaska.
Onalaska got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mary Joy Cariaga out in front who scored 12 points along with five assists and three steals. Shaylan Linear was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Onalaska's win bumped their record up to 17-13. As for Shepherd, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
Onalaska will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Trinity is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. Shepherd does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
