Soccer Game Preview: LaGrange vs. Luella

The LaGrange Grangers will face off against the Luella Lions on Wednesday. LaGrange is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

LaGrange's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Fayette County as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for LaGrange, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Fayette County from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Elvis Castillo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Luella lost 5-2 to Callaway on Thursday.

Luella has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for LaGrange, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
