Volleyball Recap: Science Hill Falls Short Against Ranked Girls Prep

Science Hill faced Girls Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Hilltoppers fell 2-0 to the Bruisers. The game marked the first time this year in which the Hilltoppers were not able to get on the board.

Elizabeth Holland was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had four aces and two assists. Those two assists gave her a new career-high.

Science Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Girls Prep, their record now sits at 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Science Hill will host West Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Girls Prep, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
