Basketball Game Preview: Southern Huntingdon County Rockets vs. Central Cambria Red Devils

The Southern Huntingdon County Rockets are taking a road trip to challenge the Central Cambria Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southern Huntingdon County will be strutting in after a victory while Central Cambria will be coming in after a defeat.

Southern Huntingdon County is headed into the game having just posted their biggest win since January 17, 2024 last Monday. Everything went their way against Glendale as Southern Huntingdon County made off with a 68-48 victory.

Meanwhile, Central Cambria came up short against Westmont Hilltop last Monday and fell 54-42. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Hilltoppers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Southern Huntingdon County will need to focus on slowing down Grady Snyder, one of several Central Cambria players who made an impact when they last played. He went 7-for-17 en route to 19 points and three steals. The contest was Snyder's third in a row with at least 18 points. John Brouse was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.

Southern Huntingdon County's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Central Cambria, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.
