Volleyball Recap: Grand County Has No Trouble Against Freedom Prep Academy

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Grand County walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles on Wednesday. The Red Devils not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Grand County took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 25-10.

The victory made it two in a row for Grand County and bumps their season record up to 8-14. As for Freedom Prep Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 13-9 record.

Coming up, Grand County will challenge Millard at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Freedom Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
