Scappoose came out on top against Gladstone on Wednesday thanks in part to Saige Casey's efforts. Casey wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with one or fewer walks.
