Nokomis is a perfect 3-0 against Tri-City since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Nokomis Redskins will challenge the Tri-City Tornadoes at 7:30 p.m. Nokomis will be strutting in after a win while Tri-City will be coming in after a loss.

Last Thursday, Nokomis was able to grind out a solid victory over Bunker Hill, taking the game 55-46. The win continues a trend for the Redskins in their matchups with the Minutemen: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Tri-City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 73-26 loss at the hands of Casey-Westfield. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tornadoes have suffered since February 19, 2024.

Nokomis' victory bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Tri-City, their loss dropped their record down to 11-17.

Everything came up roses for Nokomis against Tri-City in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 74-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Nokomis since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
