Baseball Recap: Rock Port Wins Going Away Against South Nodaway

Rock Port won the last time they faced South Nodaway and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Blue Jays blew past the Longhorns 11-1. Considering the Blue Jays have won 13 matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jadyn Geib was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tayden Cook, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

The victory made it two in a row for Rock Port and bumps their season record up to 21-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for South Nodaway, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-8.

Looking ahead, Rock Port will venture away from home to square off against Faith Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Blue Jays surely won't give up without a fight. South Nodaway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
