Basketball Recap: Cooper Takes a Loss

Cooper lost against Episcopal back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cooper Dragons took a blow against the Episcopal Knights, falling 57-23. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 974th, while the Knights are ranked 345th).

Cooper has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Episcopal, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-11.

Cooper will head out to square off against The Awty International at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Episcopal has already played their next match (against FBCHA), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
