Basketball Recap: Rise Kohyang's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rise Kohyang won the last time they faced Los Angeles Leadership Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Rise Kohyang Tritons strolled past the Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lions with points to spare, taking the game 51-36. The squad ran away with 37 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.

Los Angeles Leadership Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rafael Santamaria, who posted seven points in addition to nine rebounds and five blocks. Santamaria has been hot for a while, having posted two or more blocks the last 14 times he's played. Aillen Liao was another key player, going 5-for-8 on his way to 13 points.
