Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fannett Metal). They took down the Rockwood Rockets 62-44 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fannett Metal also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Loss or not, Rockwood got some senior leadership from Zander Ritenour and Tammo Leeferink. Ritenour went 6 for 14 on his way to 14 points and five steals, while Leeferink posted five points. Ritenour is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

The victory got Fannett Metal back to even at 2-2. As for Rockwood, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Fannett Metal will take on Mount Union in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rockwood, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 78-52 defeat against Windber on the 13th.
