Volleyball Recap: Battle Ground Academy Takes Down Concord Christian in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Battle Ground Academy rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Concord Christian Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

When it comes to explaining why Concord Christian lost, don't look at Katelyn Stooksbury. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs and two assists. Stooksbury is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Battle Ground Academy pushed their record up to 19-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Concord Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 23-10.

Battle Ground Academy has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Northpoint Christian on the 17th. Concord Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
