Naperville Central took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against St. Charles East, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Redhawks had just enough and edged out the Fighting Saints 10-8. For the Redhawks, this counts as revenge for the 11-0 victory the Fighting Saints walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2019.

The team relied heavily on Shea Meech, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 11 contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Silvers, who went 3-for-5 with two runs and one double.

Naperville Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Charles East only posted a batting average of .250.
