Ryan Minges Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is East Central's Ryan Minges, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Minges rushed for 121 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 51 yards.
The win was the fourth in a row for East Central, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. They and Greensburg are set to duel on Friday.

Lawrenceburg Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to D'kari Mucker
D'Kari Mucker's big game helped extend Lawrenceburg's winning streak to six on Friday. Mucker rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. We rated that as his best effort of the season, edging out his previous best set last Friday.
Lawrenceburg's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Mucker will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Connersville on Friday.

Landon Cornett and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Landon Cornett was instrumental in extending Lawrenceburg's winning streak to six on Friday. Rushville had no answer to Cornett as he rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown.
On the season, Cornett has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 42.3 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 11.43 rushing yards per game.

Parker Flanigan Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Parker Flanigan of Connersville. Flanigan rushed for 36 yards.
Connersville is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. Flanigan and Connersville will challenge Lawrenceburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
