Canyon View had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took down the Paradise Valley Trojans 51-36 on Friday. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Paradise Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canyon View will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on West Point at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Paradise Valley, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Youngker at 7:00 p.m. on December 1.
