Softball Game Preview: Northwest Knights vs. Indian Hill Braves

The Northwest Knights will take on the Indian Hill Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Northwest has struggled recently with 17 defeats in a row, while Indian Hill will arrive with four straight victories.

Northwest lost 20-8 to Deer Park on Friday.

Meanwhile, Indian Hill hadn't done well against Wyoming recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Braves blew past the Cowboys 16-9. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Indian Hill, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Northwest took their victory against Indian Hill in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 21-3 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
