Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask East Bakersfield). Everything went their way against the Del Oro Suns on Thursday as East Bakersfield made off with  a  19-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Blades, who have now won five games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
East Bakersfield got a big performance out of  ANGEL CHACON, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3. CHACON is becoming a predictor of East Bakersfield's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 3-5 when he doesn't).  RANDY LENOIR was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 East Bakersfield  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .571. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
East Bakersfield now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for Del Oro, their loss was  their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-6.
 Coming up, East Bakersfield will be taking part in a tournament against Bishop Union  at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Del Oro, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Golden Valley  at 4:00  p.m.
