Lexington Catholic had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bryan Station Defenders with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Lexington Catholic's got stronger as the match went on, holding Bryan Station to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-23, 25-18.

Despite the defeat, Bryan Station saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lily Howard had 12 digs and four assists.

Lexington Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Bryan Station, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Lexington Catholic will challenge Tates Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bryan Station, they will head out to challenge George Rogers Clark at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
