Volleyball Recap: Chesapeake Has No Trouble Against City College + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Chesapeake had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the City College Black Knights as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-21, 25-11.

Corinne Brandts was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had eight aces, four digs, and one block. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high.

Brandts wasn't the only good servers: Chesapeake was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 14 aces in three consecutive contests.

Chesapeake's record now sits at 10-4. As for City College, the loss snapped their winning streak at nine matches and leaves them with a 10-2 record.

As of now, neither Chesapeake nor the Black Knights have any future games scheduled.
