Basketball Recap: Chesterton Academy Falls to Albuquerque Homeschool in First Game of Season

Chesterton Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 35-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Albuquerque HomeSchool Saints.

Albuquerque HomeSchool's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amelia Freymiller, who posted seven points. Piper Hauquitz was another key player, putting up eight points.

The victory got Albuquerque HomeSchool back to even at 1-1.

After both having extra time off, Chesterton Academy and Albuquerque HomeSchool will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 4:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Albuquerque HomeSchool, they are taking a road trip to take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
