Football Recap: Caledonia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Caledonia had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-5 to make it seven. They came up short against the Rockford Rams, falling 34-14. If the Fighting Scots were looking for revenge after losing 27-14 to the Rams when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Andrew Hanna threw for 114 yards and one TD. Aaron Colins was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Josh Grace rushed for 41 yards and one score.

As for Rockford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The final result isn't all that surprising considering their considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked sixth, while Caledonia is ranked 61st).

Brayden Daniels was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 116 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 126 yards on 11 of 22 attempts. Kobe Belcher was another key player, rushing for 74 yards and one score on only ten carries.
