Baseball Recap: Selah Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Selah and Ellensburg, and Ellensburg kept the tradition alive. The Vikings fell 6-3 to the Bulldogs on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 on Saturday.

Selah's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Ellensburg, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Selah will face off against Lynden at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ellensburg, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Toppenish at 4:30 p.m.
