Basketball Recap: Springbrook Gets Big Win over Higher-Ranked Blair

Springbrook lost to Blair back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Springbrook Blue Devils came out on top in a nail-biter against the Blair Blazers, sneaking past 44-41. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Blue Devils' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the Blazers are ranked 93rd).

Springbrook's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Blair, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.

Springbrook has already played their next match (against Northwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Blair has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Bethesda-Chevy Chase.
