Basketball Recap: Osakis' Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak at Home

Osakis was the 67-56 winner over Mora when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Osakis Silverstreaks took a 69-51 bruising from the Mora Mustangs on Friday. The contest marked the Silverstreaks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Osakis' loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. As for Mora, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

The future could be bright for both Osakis and Mora: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Osakis will try to hand St. John's Prep their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mora will look to extend Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia]'s three-game losing streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
