Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carrington). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets 72-70. While the Cardinals didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Carrington is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for New Rockford-Sheyenne, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-1.
