Recap: Buhl Indians vs. Teton Timberwolves
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Buhl Indians can now relate to. They fell 41-28 to Teton on Thursday. Buhl was down 35-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Buhl's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kyler Kelly, who picked up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Gabe Finley, who threw for 179 yards and three touchdowns.
Among those leading the charge was Thomas Heuseveldt, who picked up 130 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. Teton also got a significant boost from Jack Joyce, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 134 yards.
Buhl's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Teton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
Buhl does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Teton will head out on the road to face off against Homedale at 1:00 p.m. on November 11th. Homedale is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
