Volleyball Recap: Green Comes Up Short

Green lost against Notre Dame back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bobcats lost 3-0 to the Titans.

While Green was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Notre Dame's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-10, 25-11.

Green's offense was headlined by Emma Brown and Elizabeth McBee, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Peyton Neal and her nine assists. Aliya Bradley controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Green's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Notre Dame, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Green is set to square off against their familiar foe Glenwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Notre Dame will challenge rival East at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
