Football Recap: The Meadows School Mustangs vs. Boulder City Eagles
The Meadows School extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 2-5. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 21-20 heartbreaker at the hands of the Boulder City Eagles. Despite 120 more yards than the Eagles, the Mustangs couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
The Meadows School's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron Pereira, who threw for 385 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 42 yards. Ryan Kirk also helped out as he racked up 157 receiving yards.
