Volleyball Recap: Pagosa Springs Falls Despite Big Games from Tatiana Monterroso and Amber Snarr + How To Watch

Pagosa Springs lost against Bayfield back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Wolverines. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14, 25-18.

Pagosa Springs' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Amber Snarr, who had 12 digs, and Tatiana Monterroso, who had seven digs. Snarr has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Bayfield can attribute much of their success to Lauren Rich, who had 13 digs and five assists. That's the most assists Rich has posted over her last nine games. Cora Hanson also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Pagosa Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Bayfield, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Pagosa Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Centauri on the 20th. As for Bayfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Del Norte on the 18th.
