            Softball Recap: Houston Hawks vs. Palmer Moose        
        
		
        
        
            Houston couldn't beat Palmer  on Friday even though they stacked six runs on them in the third inning. The Hawks came up short against  the Moose, falling  22-9. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Moose this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  4-3  last Tuesday.
  Madelyn Seime stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  run and one  RBI.  Charli Scully also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
Houston's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Palmer, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record  this season.
 Houston will face off against Redington at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Hawks are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on  a  16-game losing streak. As for Palmer, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Colony  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Moose's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 8.2  runs per game this season.
