Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Poplar Springs, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They put the hurt on Geneva County with a sharp 67-46 win on Monday.

The victory got Poplar Springs back to even at 2-2. As for Northside Methodist Academy, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Things could have been worse for Northside Methodist Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 71-55 loss to Poplar Springs when the teams last played back in December of 2024.
