Cass Tech waltzed into their matchup on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mumford Mustangs 92-36. The Technicians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cass Tech's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.2 points. As for Mumford, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cass Tech won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Port Huron Northern at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mumford, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pershing at 7:00 p.m.
