Basketball Game Preview: St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays vs. North Central Hurricanes

The St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays will take on the North Central Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Edmund will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

St. Edmund will head into Friday's matchup hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 26-point drubbing they dealt St. Joseph's - Plaucheville on Friday. Everything went St. Edmund's way against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville as St. Edmund made off with a 61-35 victory. The Fighting Blue Jays have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Central came up short against Jennings on Friday and fell 46-34.

St. Edmund has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for North Central, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-13.
