The home team had won the previous five meetings between Capital and Big Sky, and Capital kept the tradition alive. The Bruins came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Bruins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Capital had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Capital's victory bumped their record up to 4-25. As for Big Sky, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-19.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Capital will challenge rival Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Big Sky is set to take on their familiar foe Butte at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
