Soccer Game Preview: North Stokes vs. Phoenix Academy

The North Stokes Vikings will take on the Phoenix Academy Firebirds at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. North Stokes will be strutting in after a victory while Phoenix Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

North Stokes is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on South Davidson with a sharp 4-1 win on Tuesday. With North Stokes ahead 3-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

They hit South Davidson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mitchell Flinchum (2), Adrian Tynio, and Tyler Pederson.

Meanwhile, Phoenix Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to Triad Math and Science Academy.

Phoenix Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for North Stokes, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-9-2.
