Basketball Recap: Woodcrest Christian Takes a Loss

Woodcrest Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were beaten by the Linfield Christian Lions 76-32. The Royals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-15.

Woodcrest Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Cleveland Stoudenmire, who posted seven points, and Noah Milton, who earned ten points.

Linfield Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Daniel Crawford led the charge by going 7 for 14 to rack up 20 points and four steals. The game was Crawford's third in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julius Brower, who put up 18 points and seven assists.

Woodcrest Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Linfield Christian, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-12.

Woodcrest Christian has already played their next match, a 54-47 defeat against Loma Linda Academy on the 4th. As for Linfield Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-55 win against Aquinas on the 3rd.
