Soccer Recap: Jackson South Side Comes Up Short

Jackson South Side fought the good fight in their overtime match against Hardin County on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 11-10. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (four), Jackson South Side still had to take the loss.

Jackson South Side's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hardin County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Jackson South Side will face off against Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hardin County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Hardin County challenge Lawrence County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lawrence County will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hardin County surely won't give up without a fight.
