Powell kept up with Dobyns-Bennett until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Indians never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Considering Dobyns-Bennett have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Powell with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Abijah Powers, Gavin Farmer, and Lucas Park.

The victory (which was Dobyns-Bennett's sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six contests. As for Powell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dobyns-Bennett will square off against Science Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dobyns-Bennett will need to watch out since Science Hill have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches. As for Powell, they will take on Lenoir City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
