Softball Recap: Tupelo Comes Up Short

Tupelo lost against Nettleton on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tupelo Golden Wave came up short against the Nettleton Tigers, falling 14-1.

Tupelo's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Nettleton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Tupelo will head out on the road to take on Itawamba Agricultural at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Itawamba Agricultural will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Tupelo surely won't give up without a fight. As for Nettleton, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-2 tie against Saltillo on the 15th.
