Basketball Recap: Forest Grove's Win Ends 12-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Forest Grove hadn't done well against Century recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Forest Grove Vikings strolled past the Century Jaguars with points to spare, taking the game 65-50. The win was all the more spectacular given the Vikings' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the Jaguars are ranked 47th).

Forest Grove's victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-8. As for Century, they moved to 8-5 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forest Grove will host Liberty at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Century, they will be playing at home against Roseburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Century is facing Roseburg at the right time seeing as Roseburg is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
