3A Region II District 12 recap September 24, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in 3A Region II District 12 this week, Princeton beat Samuell 28-14,. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Panthers.
Melissa led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Farmersville. Taylor McGehee threw for 74 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 77 yards in the win.
Princeton's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jourdan Blake threw for 165 and 2 touchdowns and Jakari Dillard had 99 yards receiving. On the ground Trey Jackson contributed 155 yards. Brandon Talley helped Princeton's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 35 yards.

Melissa made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,713 from 1,962. The improvement was the result of 42-20 victory over the Farmers last week.
