Football Game Preview: Lebanon Pioneers vs. Tazewell Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Lebanon Pioneers will face off against the Tazewell Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tazewell is facing Lebanon at the wrong time: Lebanon suffered their first home loss of the season on Monday and they're likely out for redemption. They had to suffer through a 42-6 loss at the hands of the Bearcats. The matchup marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Tazewell fell victim to Graham and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a blow against the G-Men, falling 59-0. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the G-Men are ranked 73rd).

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Tazewell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Lebanon and Tazewell were almost perfectly matched up in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but Lebanon suffered an agonizing 62-61 defeat. Thankfully for the Pioneers, Carter Creasy (who threw for 401 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 113 yards and three TDs) won't be suiting up this time.
