Basketball Game Preview: Latta Panthers vs. Dale Pirates

Latta is 1-9 against Dale since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Latta Panthers will be playing at home against the Dale Pirates at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Latta comes in on four and Dale on 14.

Latta is returning to their home court after beating Davis on theirs, despite the fact Davis has dominated at home this season. Latta took down Davis 50-32 on Tuesday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Wolves are ranked 86th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Dale against Bethel on Tuesday as the team secured a 76-49 victory. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Latta's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Dale, their victory bumped their record up to 21-1.
