Volleyball Recap: Foothill Beats Flintridge Prep for Their Fourth Straight Win

With a playoff win on the line, Foothill rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Flintridge Prep Wolves by a score of 3-1. The win was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on four straight.

The victory didn't come easy: Flintridge Prep scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 25-21.

Flintridge Prep lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ally Perez, who had 19 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Nam, who had 12 digs, five aces, and one block.

Foothill's win bumped their record up to 27-10. As for Flintridge Prep, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 25-4 record.

Coming up, Foothill will challenge Cypress at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Flintridge Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
