Landon Quillen Game Report: vs Hoggard

It was an underclassman who stole the show on Tuesday as Landon Quillen came into the game on a mission. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched, which was good enough to also set a new career-low in earned runs.

Quillen's effort led West Carteret over Hoggard and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Carteret has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since March of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
