Ardsley came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Westlake Wildcats a 17-0 shutout. Considering the Panthers have won ten games by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ardsley's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Westlake, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ardsley will host John Jay at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Westlake, they will face off against Somers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
