After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Joseph-by-the-Sea, Monsignor Farrell was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Regis Raiders. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Monsignor Farrell has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Regis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Coming up, Monsignor Farrell will venture away from home to square off against St. Peter's at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Regis, they will square off against Moore Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
