Volleyball Game Preview: Woodlands Academy Wildcats vs. Beacon Academy Trailblazers

The Woodlands Academy Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Beacon Academy Trailblazers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Woodlands Academy earned a 2-0 win over Christ the King. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Woodlands Academy easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Beacon Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Willows Academy on Thursday, taking the game 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22.

Woodlands Academy's record now sits at 5-19. As for Beacon Academy, their record is now 13-8.
