Peabody is 9-1 against Halls since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Peabody will head out on the road to face off against Halls at 6:30 p.m. Peabody will be strutting in after a victory while Halls will be coming in after a loss.

If Peabody beats Halls with 14 runs on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Peabody beat Lake County on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-2. The Golden Tide might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by seven runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Halls fell victim to McNairy Central and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Bobcats, falling 9-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The win made it two in a row for Peabody and bumps their season record up to 5-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Halls, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

Peabody was able to grind out a solid win over Halls when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 10-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Peabody since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
