Football Game Preview: Titusville Terriers vs. Eau Gallie Commodores

Titusville is 0-4 against Eau Gallie since October of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Terriers are taking a road trip to challenge the Commodores at 7:00 p.m. The contest will give Titusville their first taste of in-conference action this season.

Last Friday, Titusville came up short against Spruce Creek and fell 29-22. While losing is never fun, the Terriers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 137th, while the Hawks are ranked 31st).

Meanwhile, Eau Gallie earned a 25-13 win over Cocoa on Friday. That 12 point margin sets a new team best for the Commodores this season.

Eau Gallie didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Xavier Lherisse led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by himself. Daniel Tolivert also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with nine.

Eau Gallie now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Titusville, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Titusville was taken down by Eau Gallie 44-7 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Terriers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
